Tuition fees can be paid by cheque or money order payable to the University of Western Ontario. Payment can be put in the drop box at the Student Central office or mailed to the Student Financial Services office, Western Student Services Building Room 1140, The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, N6A 3K7.
Please ensure you include your name and student number on all cheques or money orders. Receipts are not issued for payments received by mail or in the drop box. Cheques must be received in our office by the due date.
Debit Card (Issued by a Canadian Bank)
Tuition fees can be paid in person at Student Central via debit.
For students who intend to use a debit card, please note that most debit cards have a default spending limit. If the payment you wish to make is larger than this limit, you may wish to contact the issuing bank beforehand to determine if you can increase your daily spending limit temporarily while you are trying to meet the fee payment deadline. If your bank will not do so, you will need to be prepared to make an alternate method of payment.

Summer 2013 OSAP Funding for Full-Time Students (60% or more of a full course load; 40% if you are a student with a permanent disability)
- Summer 2013 OSAP funding for FULL TIME students will be electronically transferred to your bank account provided the OSAP application is complete.
- Visit the OSAP website at http://osap.gov.on.ca to confirm your loan entitlement.
- Tuition owing to Western will be taken from your funding only if you have agreed to this on your OSAP application. Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying your fees.
- If you have agreed that tuition owing to Western will be taken from your funding and your funding is not enough to cover your tuition, you must pay the difference by the due date on your Statement of Account.
- If your OSAP funding has not been confirmed, you must pay your fees by the due date.
- If you are unable to pay your fees by the fee payment due date, go to Student Central, Room 1120, Western Student Services Building or e-mail contact@uwo.ca to discuss deferment arrangements. Fee deferments are not granted for full fees. Special deferments are available to students on the basis of proven financial need.
- Western must confirm that you are enrolled in the courses you have indicated in your Summer Application before the Ministry can release your funding.
Ontario Access Grant Recipients - For students who are eligible;
Ontario grant funding will be issued to students in one of two ways. Provincial grant funds will now either be directly deposited to your bank account or a cheque will be sent to your mailing address as it shows on your OSAP application. The OSAP funding status on the OSAP website will show if your grant funding has been issued and if so, how and when you should expect to receive it.
Summer 2013 OSAP Funding for Part-Time Students (20 to 59% of a full course load; 20 to 39% for students with permanent disability)
