Welcome back!

Welcome back!

As we prepare to start a new academic year, know that the Office of the Registrar is here to support you through every step of your journey.

Here are some helpful things to keep in mind as the term begins:

ONECard Pick-up:

If you are a new student to Western, you will need to pick-up your Western ONEcard.

You can pick up your Western ONECard in-person at Student Central.

Bring photo ID when you go to pick up your card, and remember that only you can pick up your Western ONECard. You can't ask someone else to pick it up for you.

Orientation Week:

Check out the USC website or download the app to stay in the loop on all things O-Week related.

Check out the EDI Student Welcome events for a chance to connect with your community.

Using your ONECard on the LTC:

During the academic year, your Western ONECard also serves as a bus pass on all London city busses. It can take up to 24 hours after picking up your card for it to work on the London Transit.

Textbooks:

Use your personal textbook search in Student Center to get a list of all the textbooks that you need for your courses.

To view your Personal Textbook List, login to your Student Center and navigate to "Academics" > "Course Registration" > "Personal Textbook List."

Stay on top of dates & deadlines:

Stay on top of things and mark these upcoming important dates in your calendar:

  • September 12: Last day to add or drop a Fall/Winter 24-week course (10.) or a Fall 12-week course (0.5). Courses dropped by this date will not appear on a transcript; no fee penalty. Courses dropped after this date will appear on a transcript with a grade of ‘WDN’
  • September 30:National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (this is non-instructional day, meaning no classes will be running this day)
