External Scholarships
If you are receiving a scholarship from an external source and it is being paid directly to Western, it will be applied to the fees account. The scholarship amount cannot be deducted from the installment due if the scholarship payment has not been received at Western and applied to the fees account.
Sponsored Students
Students whose fees are paid by an external sponsor must also provide proof of funding (financial guarantee letter) for each term. This information must be sent before the tuition deadline to:

It is the student’s responsibility to know what the scholarship covers. Some sponsors/scholarships have health/dental coverage for their students. If that is the case the student is responsible for opting out of the plans. Any fees or penalties not covered by the scholarship/sponsor must be paid by the student by the due date.
