Payment Options
Undergraduate Payment Plan Options
All undergraduate students are automatically enrolled in the Standard Payment Plan.
Students may chose to enroll in the Flexible Payment Plan.
Standard Payment Plan - Undergraduate
50% of the total balance owing, plus all non-refundable charges (bus pass, virtual doctor, health & dental insurance premiums and O-Week charges for first year students) will be due in August and the remaining balance will be due in December.
Please review your Statement of Account on the Student Center for specific amounts and due dates once tuition is billed.
Flexible Payment Plan Option - Undergraduate

Enrollment opens July 15th, 2025
Cost: $110 non-refundable fee for undergraduate students per academic year (Sept-April).
Payment schedule:
- 30% of the total balance due for the 2025/26 academic year plus the $110 Payment Plan Fee will be due August 15th, 2025
- The remaining 70% will be split into 5 equal installments due on the following dates: September 30th, October 31st, November 30th, December 31st, and January 31st.
Deadlines
The deadline to enroll in a payment plan for the 2025/26 academic year is August 15th, 2025.
Eligibility
- Currently registered in courses for the 2025/26 academic year.
- Have a balance owing for the 2025/26 academic year.
- Have no amount owing from a previous term.
OSAP & Anticipated Aid
If your OSAP entitlement and Anticipated Aid (Western University scholarships, bursaries or awards) for the 2025/26 academic year will cover or exceed the amount of fees owing then enrollment in a payment plan is not required.
Residence
If you will be living in Residence for the 2025/26 academic year, please DO NOT apply for a Flexible Payment Plan until your housing charges have been added to your Statement of Account. If you apply prior to your charges being billed, Residence charges will not be included on your payment plan and you will be required to pay the balance of those fees by the due date on your Statement of Account.
Other Considerations
If you have outstanding fees from a previous term, you will not be eligible to participate in the plan unless the previous term's fees have been paid in full by the plan’s enrolment deadline.
If an increase of financial support (including any OSAP funding) becomes available after the plan has been implemented the plan remains in place for the term (payment plan fee continues to be non-refundable). Only credit balances exceeding the remaining installments owing under the plan will be eligible for refund.
Once your Flexible Payment Plan request for the term has been processed, the installment amounts and due dates will be firm. New fees applied to your account after the plan has been confirmed will not be included and your monthly installments will not be adjusted. You are responsible for ensuring that you are maintaining the correct payment schedule and monitoring your Statement of Account.
Payment must be received by Western University by the payment plan installment due date to avoid late payment penalties.
Late penalties will be assessed monthly at a rate of 1.5% of the overdue balance. For example, based on an overdue balance of $4,500, the interest charges would be approximately $2.25 per day. The monthly accumulation of these charges will be added to accounts on the last business day of each month. Please ensure your tuition payment reaches our office by the tuition deadline to avoid such penalties.
All notifications regarding your payment plan request will be sent to your UWO email account.

Graduate Payment Plan Options
All graduate students are automatically enrolled in the Standard Payment Plan.
Students may also choose to enroll in the Flexible Payment Plan.
Before making a payment, please review your account balance on the Student Center portal.
Standard Payment Plan - Graduate
All graduate students are eligible to pay in 2 installments without making special arrangements.
A minimum of 50% of the total balance owing for the 2025 FALL term is due September 9th, 2025, and the remaining balance is due October 15th, 2025.
Flexible Payment Plan Option - Graduate

Cost: $55 non-refundable fee for graduate students per term.
Graduate students must enroll in the Flexible Payment Plan each term.
Payment schedule:
- 1/3 of the term balance plus the $55 Payment Plan Fee will be due September 9th, 2025
- The remaining 2/3 of balance will be split into 2 equal installments due October 15th, 2025, and November 15th, 2025.
